PRINT & COMMERCIAL SURFACE DESIGN
Newstaglia.
This project was by far my favourite out of my 2nd year at university, this is because I came out of my comfort zone and experimented with different colours and structures. This project all started with me simply using collage to create different shapes and patterns.
drawings/inspiration.
This drawings and collages are what started this project and inspired my cad designs, they were simply made by paper cutting and what I cut out I would use everything including the paper you'd normally throw away. The colourway of this project is what was given by my commercial class and was restricted to use just the colourway given, this was a challenge but I'd say I was happy with the challenge given. Using these drawings I then went into CAD and create patterns which went around the theme of Newstaglia.
